The AIR2G2 machine offers a number of benefits over traditional soil aeration techniques. The AIR2G2 can be used all year round. Heavy machinery such as the Verti Drain cannot be used during the playing season or during the winter when the surface becomes too wet.
The AIR2G2 is lightweight and causes minimal surface disturbance, allowing the flexibility of using the machine for 12 months of the year. The AIR2G2 can also be used to challenge problem areas when no other machine can get on to the surface.

Our AIR2G2 machines have the latest technology which includes a double blast facility.
The AIR2G2 is a self-propelled, hydrostatic drive, three-probe air injection machine. The probes inject compressed air directly into the soil profile at set levels.
Air is injected in two stages — firstly at six inches which breaks up the “Compaction Layer”; the second air injection takes place at up to twelve inches beneath the surface.
The double blast air injection covers a horizontal area of five feet, providing extensive aeration allowing a swift application of the machine across the playing surface.
Golf clubs can hire our AIR2G2 machines to aerate their greens and practise areas with minimal impact on the playing surface or inconvenience to members and guests.
Bowling clubs can aerate their greens with ease and with minimal disruption to the playing surface. The AIR2G2 allows aeration throughout the year.
AIR2G2 works below the playing surface to deliver improved playing surfaces throughout the season, and can be used during the wetter winter months without disturbing the surface.
The lightweight AIR2G2 aerates the cricket pitch and surrounding square without disruption to the bowling and batting surface, throughout the playing season and the close season.
Running tracks and field sports turfed areas can be treated with AIR2G2 machines to aerate the turf and break up the compaction layer that receives heavy footfall during the season.
As rugby is played through the winter months, clubs across the UK have used the Air 2G2 to reduce turf compaction across the pitch. The machine can operate in wetter conditions throughout the season.
